  • Superstructures undertook the structural and civils and drainage design. The project included a new feature glass lift tower building, refurbishment and alteration of existing four-storey building and construction of new extension
  • A slender, steel frame structure with the primary structural and bracing elements expressed in bright yellow and clad in glass
  • Visible from Ipswich’s historic Waterfront.
  • Narrow building footprint and glass cladding created challenging, horizontal deflection situation under wind loading
  • Poor ground conditions required piled foundations
  • Careful consideration of design and detailing of exposed steelwork
  • Extensive modernising refurbishment works of existing building
  • Addition of a single-storey extension within a tight site
